Welcome! I am Miki. 

I am an Austin-based sound designer and audio engineer.

Throughout my time as an Arts and Entertainment Technology (AET) student at the University of Texas at Austin, I actively sought out opportunities to collaborate with others and experiment with various interactive art forms. These experiments ranged from composing music for a light show I designed in Lightconverse to programming visual background in TouchDesigner that reacted to the dancer on stage wearing Kinect. Graduated this May, I currently work as a full-time audio engineer at my alma mater ensuring the quality of audio for the online learning experience.

Among all interactive art forms, video games fascinated me the most. Games like Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Journey, Shadow of the Colossus, and The Last of Us revolutionized my understanding of the medium and convinced me of its massive potential in artistic expression and cultural impact. Moving forward, I am looking forward to establishing myself as a game sound designer and contributing my work to a genre-defining game.
